Job Description
The role involves managing and creating PCB symbols, footprints, and models for all PCBA applications, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure accurate library data, and supporting the development of self-driving technology at Aurora.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and create all PCB PCBA symbols and models
- Collaborate with electrical, PCB layout, and mechanical teams to ensure accurate part creation
- Maintain and configure library management systems for PCB components
- Ensure compliance with IPC-7351 footprint standards and footprint design requirements
- Create and input accurate symbols, footprints, and 3D models into PLM tools
Requirements
- Master of Cadence Library Creator tool
- Experience with Cadence ECAD-MCAD tool
- 8 years experience as a Librarian
- Experience and working knowledge of IPC-7351 footprint standard
- Understanding of footprint design
- Experience with library configuration management
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple functional groups to complete part creations
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range: 181,000 - 230,000 per year
