Job Description
This position involves leading survey teams, managing survey projects, and ensuring accurate survey data collection and review, while overseeing budgets, schedules, and client relationships within a surveying and land development firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct survey staff and technicians
- Review and ensure accuracy of survey work and calculations
- Prepare survey documents, legal descriptions, control sheets, and field work orders
- Maintain survey project budgets, schedules, and proposals
- Monitor project quality and ensure timely completion
- Mentor and train survey staff
- Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities
- Review completed survey deliverables for accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with other disciplines and sub-consultants
- Ensure proper billing, contract adherence, and project scope management
Requirements
- 6-10 years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Licensed Land Surveyor.
