Job Description
The Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading survey projects, managing teams, reviewing survey data, and coordinating construction-related services in land development and renewable energy projects, utilizing industry software and ensuring project success from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and technology.
- Analyze existing site conditions and legal documents relevant to development projects.
- Supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar or wind energy projects.
- Provide construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, and document organization.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments on time and within standards.
- Mentor staff in training, career development, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS or PSM
- 8 or more years of survey industry related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
