Job Description

The role involves leading and managing survey projects from start to finish, providing technical oversight, mentoring team members, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring quality and regulatory compliance within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead survey project delivery from concept to completion
Plan, schedule, and manage survey projects to ensure timely, accurate, and on-budget results
Review and prepare survey documents, including ALTA surveys, plats, legal descriptions, and boundary calculations
Mentor and guide office and field survey staff, providing coaching and performance feedback
Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development
Ensure all survey deliverables meet regulatory standards and internal quality standards
Monitor project budgets, proposals, billing, and overall project performance
Perform occasional field work to support project needs and stay connected to operations

Requirements

Licensed Land Surveyor required
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or equivalent experience
At least 6 to 10 years of progressive surveying experience, including project oversight
Strong working knowledge of boundary, topographic, and construction surveying
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams effectively
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
