Job Description
A Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC leads and manages land development survey operations, overseeing projects from start to finish, mentoring team members, and ensuring precision and quality in various surveying tasks for residential, commercial, and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage survey operations for land development projects, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
- Collaborate with team to draft, review, and finalize plats, legal descriptions, and construction documents using advanced technology.
- Direct and mentor survey crews, CAD technicians, and junior team members to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze complex records, easements, and title documents to ensure survey precision.
- Oversee layout, control, and data collection for development sites, maintaining high standards of quality.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS, SIT, or on track to obtain.
- 8 years of experience in surveying, with proven experience in boundary resolution and land development projects.
- Strong technical foundation in Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, GPS, Traversing, Leveling, and Legal Descriptions.
- Proficiency in Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a crew and manage a project with confidence.
