Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for working on diverse land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by producing and analyzing survey drawings, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings
- Generate survey-related drawings such as ALTA NSPS Surveys, Land Divisions, and construction layouts
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and legal documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to meet project goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required.
- Experience with boundary resolution and title review required.
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred.
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
