Job Description
The Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC is responsible for supporting land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by producing and reviewing survey drawings, analyzing survey data, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and compliant deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings such as surveys, land divisions, right of way dedications, and construction layouts
- Review and analyze survey data to assess existing site conditions, including legal descriptions and easement documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure project progress and team chargeability
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required.
- Experience with boundary resolution and title review required.
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred.
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
