Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for supporting land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by creating and reviewing survey drawings, analyzing survey data, and ensuring project plans meet client and regulatory standards, all within a flexible and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings
- Generate survey-related drawings such as ALTA NSPS Surveys, Land Divisions, and construction layouts
- Analyze survey data to assess existing site conditions and review legal documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to meet project goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience
- High School Diploma is required
- Thorough understanding of ALTA NSPS Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, and Construction Staking
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) is preferred
