Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for producing and analyzing survey drawings and data for land development, renewable energy, and construction projects, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software, while supporting project workflows and ensuring compliance with client and agency revisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings such as surveys, land divisions, and construction layouts
- Analyze survey data to assess existing site conditions and review legal descriptions and easement documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure project progress
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience
- High School Diploma is required
- Thorough understanding of ALTA NSPS Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, and Construction Staking
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) is preferred
