Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for producing and analyzing survey drawings and data for land development, renewable energy, and construction projects, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software, while supporting project workflows and ensuring compliance with client and agency revisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings
- Generate survey-related drawings such as ALTA NSPS Surveys, Land Divisions, and construction layouts
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and relevant documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to meet project goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience
- High School Diploma is required; an Associated Degree is preferred
- Thorough understanding of ALTA NSPS Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, and Construction Staking
