Job Description
A Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for supporting diverse land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by producing and reviewing survey-related drawings, analyzing survey data, and collaborating with project teams to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings
- Generate survey-related drawings such as ALTA NSPS Surveys, Land Divisions, and construction layouts
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and legal documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to coordinate workflow and meet chargeability goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required.
- Experience with boundary resolution and title review required.
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred.
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
