Job Description
The Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC, is responsible for supporting land development, renewable energy, and construction projects by producing and analyzing survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, reviewing survey data, and coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate and compliant deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce project drawings such as surveys, land divisions, and construction layouts
- Review survey data to analyze existing site conditions and relevant legal documents
- Edit and modify plans based on revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Generate various project-specific drawings including ALTA NSPS Surveys, Right of Way Dedications, and construction staking
- Support design staff by guiding drafting practices and procedures
- Coordinate workflow and communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure project progress and chargeability
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
- Experience with boundary resolution and title review required
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Associated Degree preferred
