Job Description
A Senior Project Manager at Atwell, LLC leads land development projects, manages client relationships, oversees engineering teams, and drives business growth within the civil engineering and site development sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in delivering site development projects for various residential types
- Manage grading, stormwater design, permitting, and quality assurance/quality control processes
- Serve as the primary client contact to build trust and expand relationships
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and growing key accounts
- Mentor junior staff and promote technical excellence within the team
Requirements
- Be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California.
- Have at least 8 years of experience in civil engineering with stormwater land development experience.
- Possess strong client-facing presence and relationship-building skills.
- Have experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR, AGTEK, and BMP design.
- Be a self-starter with the confidence to lead independently.
- Have experience in business development or account growth, considered a major plus.
