Job Description
A Senior Project Manager responsible for leading land development projects, overseeing technical design, ensuring quality and compliance, mentoring staff, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review report writing, site plan design, drainage, grading, and due diligence site analysis reports.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to complete assignments efficiently while maintaining high standards.
- Mentor and support junior staff with technical queries related to Land Development projects.
- Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure project deliverables meet quality and engineering standards.
- Review and seal project documents to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Analyze survey data and site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, and easements.
- Make necessary edits and modifications to plans based on agency, municipality, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to track workflow and meet project goals.
- Support financial objectives and contribute to project success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- At least 8 years of experience in Residential and Commercial Land Development including design, project management, business development, and invoicing
- Expertise in report writing, site plan design, drainage, grading, and comprehensive due diligence site analysis reports
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D to review and complete assignments efficiently, adhering to high standards
- Ability to guide and support junior staff with technical queries related to Land Development projects
- Experience overseeing QA/QC processes to ensure all project deliverables meet rigorous quality and engineering standards
- Ability to review and seal project documents to ensure full compliance with engineering standards
- Experience analyzing project survey data and site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, and easement documents
- Flexibility to make necessary edits and modifications to plans as required by agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to track workflow status and meet chargeability goals
- Ability to support the team in achieving financial objectives and project success
