Job Description
A Senior Project Manager responsible for leading land development projects, overseeing technical design, ensuring quality and compliance, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review report writing, site plan design, drainage, grading, and due diligence site analysis reports
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to complete assignments efficiently and uphold quality standards
- Mentor and support junior staff with technical questions related to Land Development projects
- Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure project deliverables meet quality and engineering standards
- Review and seal project documents to ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Analyze survey data and site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, and easements
- Make necessary plan modifications based on agency, municipal, and client requirements
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to track workflow and meet project goals
- Support financial objectives and contribute to project success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- At least 8 years of experience in Residential and Commercial Land Development including design, project management, business development, and invoicing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D to review and complete assignments efficiently, adhering to high standards
- Ability to act as the go-to authority for report writing, site plan design, drainage, grading, and comprehensive due diligence site analysis reports
- Experience in reviewing and sealing project documents to ensure full compliance with engineering standards
- Ability to analyze project survey data and site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, and easement documents
- Experience in making necessary edits and modifications to plans as required by agencies, municipalities, and clients
- Ability to coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to track workflow status and meet chargeability goals
- Support in achieving financial objectives and project success
- Educational background including a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
