Job Description
The Project Surveyor at Atwell supports renewable energy projects by leading surveying efforts, conducting boundary and title reviews, and utilizing advanced survey software to ensure accurate data collection and project delivery across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage surveying efforts on renewable energy and utility-scale projects across the U.S.
- Provide expertise during proposal and planning phases to establish project scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Conduct and review boundary analysis and title review to support land acquisition, easements, and real estate documentation.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process survey data and prepare deliverables.
- Oversee and review field survey calculations, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and inspectors to ensure project delivery.
Requirements
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale, multi-state renewable energy projects preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble equipment, and Trimble Business Center.
- Prior field survey experience strongly preferred.
- SIT or PLS certification desired.
- Multi-state licensure is a plus.
