Job Description
A Project Surveyor at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading land development surveys, managing projects from start to finish, and collaborating with engineers and clients to deliver precise mapping and boundary data for residential, commercial, and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects.
- Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process survey data, create plats, exhibits, and maps.
- Review and verify survey calculations and field data to ensure precision and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to serve as the trusted survey voice on projects.
Requirements
- A deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, with the ability to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred.
- Prior field crew experience is a plus, demonstrating understanding of both office and field survey processes.
- LSIT or PLS certification desired; multi-state licensure is a plus.
