Job Description
A Project Surveyor at Atwell, LLC is responsible for managing survey projects, utilizing engineering software and field equipment, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate survey data and project success across land development and energy markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage survey projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with Project Managers during proposal and planning phases to establish project scope, budgets, and staffing.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete survey assignments accurately and efficiently.
- Review and adjust survey field calculations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, contractors, inspectors, and team leaders.
- Attend training, industry conferences, and networking events to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
Requirements
- An advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, and Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents.
- Prior experience with Trimble equipment and Trimble Business Center is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prior experience working in the field on a survey crew is highly preferred.
- LSIT or PLS certification is desired.
