This position involves leading the design and management of water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, and water supply systems, while overseeing project execution, client relationships, and team supervision within the East and Southeast Texas regions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, and related facilities.
Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and permits for projects.
Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and oversee design quality control.
Develop and present proposals for engineering services and coordinate project strategies.
Serve as a client contact to foster relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Supervise and mentor technical staff, assigning tasks and conducting performance reviews.
Conduct site visits and attend client meetings to gather project requirements and feedback.
Ensure accurate client billing and monitor accounts receivable and collections.
Engage in business development activities to expand client relationships.
Perform equipment evaluations and develop technical reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
Minimum of 8 years of design experience in water and wastewater systems, treatment plant evaluation and design, rehabilitation and expansion, and master planning
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas
Must have a valid driver s license
Strong understanding of the most current water and or wastewater regulations
Outstanding writing, communications, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Fluent in the English language
