Job Description
The Survey Project Manager at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading survey projects, managing teams, reviewing survey data, and ensuring the successful execution of site plans and construction documents in the land development and renewable energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and technology.
- Analyze site conditions and development factors, including legal descriptions and survey documents.
- Supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to renewable energy projects.
- Provide construction-related services such as permit applications, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Organize and assemble site and construction plans and related documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments on time and within standards.
- Mentor staff, assist with training, and support professional development.
Requirements
- Professional Survey License PLS or PSM
- 8 or more years of survey industry related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
