Job Description
A Civil Project Manager at Atwell, LLC, leads land development projects by managing design, analysis, and permitting processes for residential and commercial sites, utilizing engineering software and coordinating with junior team members to deliver comprehensive construction documents and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data and analyze existing site conditions for development considerations.
- Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations related to hydrology, site analysis, costs, schedules, and permits.
- Provide construction-related services and oversee junior team members in permit applications, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Organize and assemble site plans, construction plans, and related documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and engineering software to complete assignments accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE License is Required
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in civil land development projects
- Experience leading a team responsible for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing preliminary and final site plans and construction documents
- Experience reviewing project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents
- Ability to prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations related to hydrology hydraulic studies, due diligence site analysis reports, engineer’s opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention retention computations, storm sewer reports, local and state permit applications, storm water reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD reports, WaterCAD reports, and preliminary final detailed grading
- Provide construction-related services and direct junior team members to complete permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, transmittals, organize site plans, construction plans, construction sheet set-up and assembly, and other related construction documents
- Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments on time and within prescribed standards and budgets
