Job Description
A Project Manager in electrical testing and commissioning overseeing field and office teams, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction while managing project scope, schedule, and budget in substations and data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field and office personnel in electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance projects for substations and datacenters.
- Serve as the primary client contact, managing communication and project scope confirmation.
- Mentor NETA technicians and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
- Plan and manage project schedule, resources, and data from kickoff to closeout.
- Perform electrical testing, review test data, and resolve technical issues with clients.
- Track project scope, schedule, and budget, and support change order processes.
- Oversee equipment readiness, repairs, and safety compliance of tools, vehicles, and site offices.
- Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and team development activities.
Requirements
- Proven project leadership in electrical testing commissioning with responsibility for field teams, client interface, safety, schedule, budget, and reporting.
- Ability to mentor NETA technicians Levels I III and perform testing aligned to your NETA level.
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid U.S. driver s license and a clean driving record with no citable accidents in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug alcohol screening and to satisfy E-Verify or equivalent work authorization requirements.
