Job Description

A Project Coordinator supporting utilities projects in gas, water, and electric sectors, responsible for coordinating project activities, managing documentation, tracking budgets, and facilitating communication among teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Project Managers and engineering teams to support project operations
  • Track project deliverables, manage inventories, and assist with permits and regulatory paperwork
  • Support project invoicing, monitor budgets and expenses, and assist with accrual tracking
  • Manage communications with internal teams, clients, and municipalities
  • Organize meetings, document notes, and follow up on action items
  • Prepare proposals, reports, and internal documentation
  • Maintain accurate project files and ensure compliance with standards
  • Provide client and customer support to ensure high service levels

Requirements

  • Must be located in Boardman, Canton, or Columbus Ohio and work fully in-office.
  • Must be a full-time employee.
  • Must have prior project coordination or administrative experience in utilities, construction, or infrastructure industries is preferred but not required.
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with SAP or other project management systems is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
  • Must have a client-first mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Must be able to manage paperwork, tracking systems, and field coordination support with minimal supervision.
