Job Description
The Planner supports project teams by designing land development projects, conducting site investigations, preparing plans and reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations, primarily using AutoCAD and GIS tools. The role involves collaboration with clients and agencies to deliver land planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design portions of projects and develop land planning solutions.
- Conduct due diligence by gathering and interpreting data from various sources.
- Participate in site investigations such as wetland delineation and natural features inventories.
- Prepare design reports, conceptual layouts, site analysis plans, and planting plans.
- Utilize AutoCAD and graphics software to create and revise drawings.
- Attend meetings with project team, clients, municipalities, and agencies.
- Incorporate review comments into redline plans and verify revisions.
- Ensure compliance with land planning procedures, regulations, and company standards.
- Prepare public presentations for clients, municipalities, and agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Land Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture, or industry equivalent.
- Zero to four (0-4) years of practical experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and GIS.
