Job Description
The Permitting Coordinator at Atwell, LLC is responsible for managing the land development permitting process, including preparing applications, coordinating with agencies and internal teams, tracking progress, and ensuring project deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the permitting process by researching requirements, contacting agencies, and gathering documentation
- Prepare and submit complete and accurate permit applications
- Collaborate with survey, engineering, environmental, and construction teams to secure exhibits and supporting materials
- Track application progress, monitor deadlines, and milestones using online portals and internal tools
- Communicate with internal teams, external agencies, and clients to ensure project alignment
- Identify potential roadblocks and assist in navigating conditions of approval
Requirements
- Three to five years of permitting experience preferred
- Background in land development projects strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel locally when needed, less than ten percent
- High School Diploma required
