Job Description
This role involves negotiating easement agreements and engaging with landowners for a major transmission line project, requiring fieldwork, documentation, and communication skills within the utility-scale land acquisition sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with landowners to negotiate easement agreements for high-voltage transmission lines
- Support landowner engagement, field documentation, and parcel tracking
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and agreements
Requirements
- Proven experience in transmission or utility-scale land acquisition
- Familiarity with Wisconsin landowner expectations and permitting processes is a plus
- Ability to travel extensively within the project area
- Must have an active LLC
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to be in the field approximately 75% of the time
- Experience in meeting with landowners to negotiate easement agreements for high-voltage transmission lines
- Experience in supporting landowner engagement, field documentation, and parcel tracking
- Ability to maintain accurate records of all communications and agreements
