Job Description
This role involves negotiating easement agreements and engaging with landowners for a major transmission line project, requiring fieldwork, documentation, and strong communication skills in the utility or transmission sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with landowners to negotiate easement agreements for high-voltage transmission lines
- Support landowner engagement, field documentation, and parcel tracking
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and agreements
Requirements
- Proven experience in transmission or utility-scale land acquisition.
- Familiarity with Wisconsin landowner expectations and permitting processes is a plus.
- Ability to travel extensively within the project area.
- Must have an active LLC.
- Reliable transportation.
- Experience in meeting with landowners to negotiate easement agreements for high-voltage transmission lines.
- Experience in supporting landowner engagement, field documentation, and parcel tracking.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of all communications and agreements.
- This is a 1099 full-time contract role.
- Local and out-of-state agents will be considered, but priority is given to those within a reasonable travel range.
- Candidates should be prepared to be in the field approximately 75% of the time.
