Job Description
A full-time Land Agent responsible for land acquisition and negotiations for a utility-scale solar development project across Michigan, engaging with landowners and supporting project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with landowners to negotiate solar lease and easement agreements
- Maintain accurate records of landowner communications and signed documents
- Collaborate with project leadership to meet acquisition and site control milestones
- Represent the company professionally and respectfully in the community
Requirements
- Proven experience in land acquisition for solar or utility projects
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Michigan’s rural markets and landowner landscape
- Ability to travel across the state of Michigan as needed
- Must have an active LLC
- Reliable transportation
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Full-time availability for a 1099 contract role
