Job Description
The Land Solutions Project Manager will oversee utility and transmission projects in the Midwest, managing all phases from land acquisition to project closeout, while coordinating with clients, teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complex utility and transmission projects across the Midwest region.
- Define project scope, schedule, and budget, and develop project plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams in property rights acquisition, permitting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, providing updates and progress reports.
- Manage contracts, proposals, and change orders to ensure project alignment and profitability.
- Monitor project performance metrics, financials, and deliverables using project management tools.
- Coordinate with sub-consultants, land agents, and document teams to maintain project accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing utility, transmission, or right-of-way projects.
- Proven understanding of easement acquisition, permitting, and landowner negotiations.
- Strong project management, leadership, and client communication skills.
- Experience working with GIS-based systems and project-tracking tools such as Deltek Vision.
