Job Description
A Project Manager at Atwell, LLC leads and manages public works and infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining client relationships, overseeing project teams, and supporting business development efforts in the community infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead public works and infrastructure projects from proposal to completion, ensuring timely, within-budget delivery and high quality standards.
- Establish project objectives with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, budgets, schedules, and financial performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with municipal and public agency clients through proactive communication.
- Mentor and support project teams to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Participate in business development activities such as proposals, presentations, and client outreach.
- Stay current with industry regulations, funding mechanisms, and best practices in public works and infrastructure design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Land Planning, Surveying, or a related field.
- Professional license such as PE, RLA, AICP, CPG, or PS is highly desired.
- Four or more years of experience delivering public works, municipal, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of local government processes, permitting, and construction markets.
- Experience with utilities, roadway design, stormwater, water and wastewater, or related public infrastructure projects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders.
