Job Description
This role involves supporting civil engineering projects through drafting, data analysis, technical report preparation, and construction support, with opportunities for professional growth into project management within a dynamic consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers to draft, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents
- Analyze survey data and existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, easements, and surveys
- Guide and assist junior staff to ensure accurate and efficient execution of project tasks
- Prepare technical reports, opinions, and recommendations such as hydrology studies and storm sewer reports
- Provide construction support, including permit applications and quantity estimates
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete assignments on time and within budget
- Develop project management skills through training and mentoring for potential career advancement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT (Engineer in Training) certification is required
- 3 or more years of related experience in civil engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and various engineering software packages
