Job Description
A Project Engineer specializing in site civil engineering and land development projects, responsible for managing project lifecycle from design to construction, ensuring technical excellence, permitting, client relations, and contributing to company growth in commercial development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop site civil engineering and land development projects, including potable water, wastewater, surface water management, site grading, and roadway design.
- Manage projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful execution.
- Process permitting and entitlements efficiently across various governmental agencies.
- Participate in company marketing efforts and foster client and governmental agency relationships.
- Contribute to company growth by delivering high-quality projects and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
- PE Licensure is required
- Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices
- Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects
- Experience managing projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution
- Ability to manage and coordinate various aspects of project development
- Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies
- Utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process
- Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules for large-scale developments and commercial infills
- Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance the company s profile and foster relationships with clients and governmental agencies
- Deliver high-quality projects and ensure client satisfaction to contribute to company growth
- Relevant work experience in Washington is preferred
