Job Description
A Project Engineer responsible for managing site civil engineering and land development projects, including design, permitting, project lifecycle management, and client relations, with a focus on water and wastewater systems and site development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering plans for water, wastewater, surface water management, site grading, and roadway projects.
- Manage projects from entitlements through construction, ensuring successful execution.
- Process permits and entitlements across various governmental agencies efficiently.
- Coordinate and oversee various aspects of project development and execution.
- Participate in company marketing efforts and foster client and governmental relationships.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
- PE Licensure Required
- Candidates with relevant work experience in Florida preferred
- Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices
- Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects
- Take projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution
- Manage and coordinate various aspects of project development
- Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies
- Utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process
- Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules, ranging from large-scale developments to compact commercial infills
- Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance the company s profile and foster relationships with existing and future clients and governmental agencies
- Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and client satisfaction
