Job Description
The position involves working on site civil engineering and land development projects, managing project lifecycle from design to construction, ensuring technical excellence, handling permitting processes, and fostering client relationships to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop site civil engineering and land development projects, including potable water, wastewater, surface water management, site grading, and roadway design.
- Manage projects from entitlements through construction, ensuring successful execution.
- Process permitting and entitlements across various governmental agencies, utilizing local experience to streamline approvals.
- Participate in company marketing efforts and foster client and governmental relationships to support company growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
- PE Licensure is required
- Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices
- Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects
- Experience in managing projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution
- Ability to manage and coordinate various aspects of project development
- Experience in efficiently processing multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies
- Ability to utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process
- Implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules for large-scale developments and commercial infill projects
- Active participation in company marketing efforts to enhance the company's profile and foster relationships with clients and governmental agencies
- Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and ensuring client satisfaction
- Relevant work experience in Maryland is preferred
