Job Description
A Civil Engineer EIT at Atwell, LLC supports project teams by leading design tasks, preparing project documents, conducting site visits, and collaborating with clients and agencies to ensure successful civil engineering project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams by leading design aspects and addressing engineering issues
- Prepare, review, and finalize project documents including site plans, reports, cost estimates, schedules, and permit applications
- Make edits to plans based on client and agency feedback
- Research local zoning requirements and conduct site visits and field assignments
- Analyze site survey data and development factors
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments
- Communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, and agencies
- Update project managers and team leaders on workload status
- Apply fundamental engineering concepts to practical situations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Two to four (2-4) years of experience in civil engineering, with experience leading design aspects of development projects preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Grading Design, Technical Writing, 3-D Modeling, MS Office, and Plan Interpretation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent workload management skills
