Job Description
The Program Manager in the Power Business Unit oversees the development and execution of power conversion projects, coordinating engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering teams to develop power conversion solutions from inception to completion.
- Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals in collaboration with management and customers.
- Develop, implement, and monitor detailed program plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Communicate program expectations, progress, and issues effectively to team members, stakeholders, and customers.
- Estimate resources and staffing needs; delegate tasks to team members and contractors.
- Identify, assess, and resolve risks, issues, and conflicts within the program.
- Track and report on program milestones, deliverables, and progress to senior management and customers.
- Manage changes in program scope, develop contingency plans, and address potential crises.
- Establish success criteria and ensure their dissemination and understanding throughout the program lifecycle.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members and contractors to ensure accountability and performance.
- Build and maintain relationships vital to program success and conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or business is required or related field is preferred or 3 years of equivalent experience
- Experience in the Product Development Process (PDP) is preferred
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Possess a strong emotional quotient and excel at navigating shifting priorities
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple programs at the same time
- Strong written and oral communication skills
