Job Description
The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for protecting the organization's computer networks and systems through monitoring, vulnerability assessment, implementing security measures, and conducting audits, while providing leadership and guidance on security best practices across a global manufacturing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate threats to computer networks and systems
- Perform security assessments and reviews of systems, applications, and infrastructure
- Operate and maintain security tools such as IDS, endpoint protection, and SIEM systems
- Implement and enhance cybersecurity protocols and controls
- Conduct security audits to identify vulnerabilities and violations
- Develop and update cybersecurity documentation, manuals, and procedures
- Research, test, and implement security technologies
- Perform penetration testing and collaborate with vendors on security concerns
- Manage network security infrastructure including firewalls and privilege assignments
- Foster security awareness and best practices within the organization
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or applicable cybersecurity certifications.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of IT experience in a multi-site global manufacturing organization.
- Experience with cybersecurity requirements such as ISO27001, CMMC, DoD, etc.
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, antivirus solutions, proxies, and firewalls.
- Experience with endpoint management, particularly with computers, servers, and mobile devices.
Benefits & Perks
Salary Range: 85,000-110,000
