Job Description
A Program Manager in the Power Business Unit oversees the end-to-end development and execution of power conversion projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring project goals, timelines, and quality standards are met to deliver advanced power solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering teams to develop power conversion solutions from start to finish.
- Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with management and customers.
- Develop, implement, and monitor detailed program plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Communicate program expectations and progress to team members, customers, and senior management.
- Estimate resources and staffing needs to achieve program goals.
- Identify, assess, and resolve risks, issues, and conflicts within the program.
- Manage program dependencies, critical path, and scope changes.
- Track progress, milestones, and deliverables; prepare reports and presentations.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise program team members and contractors.
- Build and maintain relationships vital to program success.
- Conduct postmortems to evaluate program performance and develop best practices.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or business is required or related field is preferred or 3 years of equivalent experience.
- Experience in the Product Development Process (PDP) is preferred.
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Possess a strong emotional quotient and excel at navigating shifting priorities.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple programs at the same time.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
