Job Description
The Program Manager in the Power Business Unit oversees the end-to-end development and execution of engineering projects, coordinating teams, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring program goals, timelines, and quality standards are met to deliver advanced power conversion solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering teams to develop power conversion solutions from start to finish.
- Define program scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with management and customers.
- Develop, implement, and monitor detailed program plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Communicate program expectations and progress effectively to team members and customers.
- Estimate resources, staff needs, and set revenue targets aligned with program goals.
- Identify, assess, and resolve risks, issues, and conflicts within the program.
- Track program milestones, deliverables, and manage dependencies and critical paths.
- Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Manage scope changes, develop contingency plans, and address potential crises.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise program team members and contractors to ensure accountability and performance.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or business is required or related field is preferred or 3 years of equivalent experience
- Experience in the Product Development Process (PDP) is preferred
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Possess a strong emotional quotient and excel at navigating shifting priorities
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple programs at the same time
- Strong written and oral communication skills
