Job Description

An Electrical Engineer Intern role focused on supporting product development and quality assurance tasks, including prototype testing, documentation, and design activities, within a multidisciplinary team working on power conversion and control products for demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Product Development and Quality Assurance tasks
  • Assemble and test prototypes
  • Create project documentation such as stress charts, MTBF calculations, and test reports
  • Use analytical tools like PSpice and MathCAD for design conceptualization
  • Participate in project teams with Mechanical and Process Engineers
  • Prepare component stress documentation, MTBF, and DFMEA analyses
  • Debug and test prototypes individually or with technicians
  • Assist with verification test procedures and troubleshoot issues

Requirements

  • A current student working towards a BSEE degree, preferably in their Sophomore or Junior year of college.
  • The student should have basic knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering concepts.
  • Familiarity with PC-based software such as Microsoft Office, MathCAD, AutoCAD or Pro-E.
  • Hands-on inclination and interest in electronic circuitry is a plus.
