A Sales Engineer responsible for increasing sales and customer engagement for power products in the Mid-West region, providing technical and commercial support, building customer relationships, and driving new business opportunities through direct sales and account management.
Key Responsibilities
Increase and improve sales within the assigned territory by engaging new and existing customers.
Establish and maintain direct relationships with target accounts, providing commercial and technical support.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions for quotations, RFQs, blanket agreements, and contracts.
Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to develop proposals and responses that meet customer needs.
Manage customer satisfaction and resolve concerns within existing accounts.
Qualify, manage, and advance sales leads and prospects proactively.
Attend trade shows and industry events to identify and pursue new target customers.
Maintain and update the Salesforce database with opportunities and contacts.
Travel extensively within the territory to meet with accounts and prospects.
Requirements
Possess a Bachelor of Electronic or Electrical Engineering degree (preferred).
Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the territory with an established network of contacts in the Industrial, Medical, Aerospace, and Military markets.
Experience with EMI and Power Electronics.
Demonstrate a consultative approach and ability to make recommendations to prospects with solutions that meet their requirements.
Possess the ability to influence and motivate other internal organizations to achieve solutions for customers and drive revenue growth.
Able to communicate effectively.
Must be able to travel extensively to accounts and prospective customers in order to drive additional new business, with an average of 60% travel within the territory weekly and around 5% out of region as needed.

Salary Range: 70,000-90,000
