Job Description
The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for safeguarding the organization's computer networks and systems through threat monitoring, vulnerability assessment, security implementation, and developing defense strategies, while ensuring compliance and fostering security awareness across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate threats to computer networks and systems
- Perform security assessments and reviews of systems, applications, and infrastructure
- Operate and maintain security tools such as intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM
- Develop and implement security measures, controls, and defense strategies
- Conduct security audits to identify vulnerabilities and violations
- Maintain technical documentation, manuals, and cybersecurity procedures
- Research, test, and deploy security technologies
- Perform penetration testing and collaborate with vendors on security concerns
- Upgrade networks to comply with industry best practices
- Foster security awareness across the organization
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or applicable cybersecurity certifications.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of IT experience in a multi-site global manufacturing organization.
- Experience with cybersecurity requirements such as ISO27001, CMMC, DoD, etc.
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, antivirus software, proxies, and firewalls.
- Experience with endpoint management, particularly with computers, servers, and mobile devices.
Benefits & Perks
Salary Range: 85,000-110,000
