Job Description

An Electrical Engineer at Astrodyne TDI will design and develop advanced power conversion products, perform testing and verification, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure product reliability and compliance to deliver innovative power solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced power conversion products and electronic schematic diagrams
  • Execute Design Verification and Qualification test plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex power electronic topologies and prototypes
  • Maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, drawings, and ECNs
  • Prepare component stress documentation, DFMEA, and MTBF analyses
  • Conduct product reliability testing
  • Support New Product Introduction with project transfer and testing
  • Make critical project decisions and report to senior engineers
  • Design control circuits and contribute to mechanical product design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years in developing electronic circuits and power conversion products
  • Proficiency in design aid tools like PSpice and Mathcad
  • Understanding of Electromagnetism and Control Theory
  • Knowledge of digital design and communication protocols
