Job Description

An Electrical Design Engineer at Astrodyne TDI is responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of EMI RF filter components, collaborating with teams and customers to deliver innovative electromagnetic compatibility solutions that meet performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of EMI RF filter products.
  • Collaborate with operations and safety teams to troubleshoot and maintain production flow.
  • Conduct analytical design analyses and participate in mechanical product design.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs and deliver tailored design solutions.
  • Perform debug testing and design verification of prototypes.
  • Manage product reliability testing.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation such as schematics, BOMs, drawings, and ECNs.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in RF design and EMC troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in using RF test equipment.
  • Proficiency in using engineering computer tools such as Mathcad, Spice, Excel, and Orcad Capture.
