Job Description
A Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for advanced power technologies, utilizing CAD, FEM software, and hand calculations, with experience in hazardous and control systems aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and oversee mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
- Use FEM software, CAD tools, and hand calculations to create and refine designs
- Generate technical drawings for systems
- Lead technicians in building and testing mechanical systems
- Apply industry standards such as ASME and AISC in design and development
- Work with hazardous systems and control systems
Requirements
- Experience with designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using FEM software, CAD tools, and performing hand calculations to create and refine designs.
- Ability to generate technical drawings for mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience leading skilled technicians in building and testing systems.
- Experience working with hazardous systems.
- Experience working with control systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME and AISC.
