Job Description

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding Arbor's commercial presence by building relationships, identifying opportunities, and developing strategies to secure offtake agreements and build a customer base for their zero-carbon power systems. The role involves market research, networking with stakeholders, and shaping long-term power purchase and service agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute Arbor's commercial strategy for power offtake and system sales.
  • Identify, reach out to, and develop relationships with potential purchasers, including hyperscalers, utilities, and industrials.
  • Shape purchase and long-term service agreements with clients.
  • Research potential partners and new market opportunities.
  • Network with key stakeholders to generate interest in Arbor's zero-carbon power solutions.
  • Build and maintain an order book capable of delivering modular, baseload, zero-carbon power to various customers.

Requirements

  • Experience in building and scaling a commercial footprint, including researching potential partners, networking with key stakeholders, and generating interest in zero-carbon power solutions.
  • Ability to identify and reach out to potential purchasers such as hyperscalers, utilities, and industrials, and develop and build relationships with them.
  • Experience in shaping purchase and long-term service agreements for electric power projects utilizing Arbor's technology.
  • Experience in building an order book capable of delivering baseload, zero-carbon power that can be modularly deployed and scaled to meet various power customer needs.
  • Ability to identify and reach out to potential customers including energy project developers, utilities, and industrials, and develop and build relationships with them.
  • Experience in shaping purchase and long-term service agreements with potential customers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for business purposes.
  • The role is based out of El Segundo, CA, but remote work is acceptable.
