The Transaction Advisory Services Director at Aprio leads client buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing strategic insights and support for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across various industries, while driving practice growth and client development.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory services, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to support client decision-making in transactions.
Identify and develop new client prospects and market opportunities in various industries.
Execute transaction advisory projects, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
Promote and sell comprehensive transaction advisory services to clients and potential clients.
Requirements
Experience in providing transaction advisory services, including analyzing buy-side and sell-side transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Ability to work with clients across a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, technology, retail, restaurant and hospitality, healthcare, government contracting, construction, and business services.
Proven expertise in practice growth, client prospecting, marketing, and executing client transaction advisory work.
Strong knowledge of the processes involved in mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture transactions to provide clients with important decision-making information.
Experience in selling comprehensive advisory services to clients, including private and public strategics and private equity investor groups.
Ability to develop and execute strategies to establish market leadership in new or existing markets for transaction advisory services.
Demonstrated ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and contribute to practice growth and client development.
Experience in managing or leading transaction advisory projects and teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
CPA certification or equivalent professional credential (implied by working with a CPA and advisory firm).
