Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee tax planning and compliance for middle to large-sized clients in the construction industry.
Identify and implement tax strategies to maximize client opportunities and minimize liabilities.
Coordinate and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
Provide guidance on complex tax issues and industry-specific regulations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service.
Requirements
Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with specific experience working with middle to large-sized tax clients.
Have a CPA license or be actively pursuing CPA certification.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations relevant to construction industry clients.
Show proficiency in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and related tax planning for construction industry clients.
Possess excellent analytical skills to interpret tax laws and apply them effectively to client situations.
Have the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Be capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Have a solid understanding of tax software and technology tools used in tax preparation and planning.
Be willing to work in a hybrid or remote work environment as per firm policies.
