A Tax Associate at Aprio will support clients in maximizing their opportunities by providing tax services within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm, collaborating with a diverse and passionate team to deliver innovative solutions and professional growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with tax planning and compliance
Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation
Research tax issues and stay updated on tax laws and regulations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant work experience in tax preparation, planning, or advisory services, with a minimum of 1 year preferred.
Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Ability to prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work product.
Willingness to learn and stay updated on current tax laws and industry best practices.
