Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee client tax engagements specific to restaurant, franchise, and hospitality industries.
Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients in fast-growing industries.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations for clients.
Lead and develop tax team members to deliver high-quality services.
Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies for clients.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, specifically with restaurant, franchise, or hospitality industries.
Experience in managing or leading tax engagements and teams within a CPA or advisory firm setting.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations relevant to the restaurant, franchise, and hospitality industries.
Proven ability to prepare, review, and analyze complex tax returns and related documentation.
Experience in providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to clients in fast-growing industries.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships and identify new business opportunities, including origination of new client sales.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Physical ability to perform work at a desk, including sitting for extended periods and using standard office equipment.
Willingness to travel as needed to client locations or firm events, if applicable.
