A Senior Accounting Manager responsible for overseeing monthly accounting and financial reporting for healthcare clients, providing strategic guidance, ensuring compliance, and leading a team of accounting professionals within a fast-growing CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly accounting and financial reporting for healthcare and healthcare-adjacent clients
- Provide proactive, strategic guidance to ensure financial compliance and operational effectiveness
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements specific to the healthcare industry
- Deliver strategic advisory services to clients
Requirements
- Overseeing monthly accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of healthcare and healthcare adjacent clients, including provider organizations and professional services entities.
- Delivering proactive, strategic guidance that supports financial compliance, operational effectiveness, and regulatory requirements unique to the healthcare industry.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing a high performing team of accounting professionals, fostering technical excellence, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
- Having a strong foundation in accounting or finance.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing accounting or finance teams.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic advisory services related to accounting and finance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement across service delivery.
